Keeping newborn babies warm is vitally important and booties play a key role in doing just that. Whether it is in or out of the house babies booties play a key role in keeping your baby warm.
Rather than pile a load of blankets on your baby you are better to dress him or her warmly and use less blankets. If you are going out then make sure your baby is wearing booties and also make sure you have a nice warm pair of mittens to keep their hands warm also. Obviously your baby is not in a position to tell you if they are cold or not so why take the risk?
